INGREDIENTS

Each MEFIYE candle is formulated using soy wax, a natural, non-toxic renewable resource which is biodegradable and has a lower melting point than paraffin wax (allowing for a longer burn and more time to enjoy our products). 

But more importantly, soy wax also burns with zero petro-carbon soot, which helps to maintain pure air quality and reduce home maintenance issues commonly associated with soot deposits.

Our candles also use wicks made from pure long strand ring spun cotton and paper, with a reduced afterglow to minimise smoke, soot and excess carbon build-up (mushrooming) on extinguishing.

All of our products are vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free, and we are committed to remaining sustainably-led as a business.

PACKAGING

All of our packaging is made of recyclable materials, from our candle containers (which we encourage our community of MEFIYE customers to recycle, or up-cycle and use around the home or elsewhere) to our product boxes and delivery packaging which are made of recyclable cardboard.

We aim to use little to no plastic and/or non-recyclable materials as part of our manufacturing and/or delivery process.

SUPPLY CHAIN

At present, we work primarily with local manufacturers and suppliers to source our product materials. As a small business, our priority is ensuring that each MEFIYE customer receives items made with care. As such, our collection of products are produced in-house in London, in small batches to avoid overproduction.
